The Source Celebrates 7 Years of Serving Northwest Arkansas
The Source opened its doors in 2019 in a small building in Bentonville, Arkansas — modest enough that its entire footprint could fit inside our current sales floor. We grew out of that space fast, and in the summer of 2022, we moved to Rogers to give our team and our community the room to grow.
This August, we celebrated 7 years with a Lucky 7 anniversary weekend, full of deals, giveaways, and a little friendly wordplay to match the milestone. From doorbuster deals to a community Tip Match, it was our way of thanking the customers, employees, and neighbors who've shaped what The Source has become.
Here's a look back at seven reasons we celebrated, and how NWA showed up with us.
7 Reasons We're Proud to Call NWA Home

1. A happy team makes for great service.
Several of our staff have been with us since the very beginning, moving up in the ranks along the way. They're the ones who helped set our culture from day one, and their fingerprints are still all over how we operate. We back that kind of loyalty with a growing portfolio of employee benefits and perks — including subsidized health insurance — for a team that's now more than 50 people strong. Walk into The Source on any given day and you'll feel it: a team that genuinely wants to be there.

2. A loyalty program that actually gives back.
We built our loyalty program the way we'd want one built for us. As a locally owned dispensary, every dollar spent here stays in this community — and our loyalty rewards are our way of making sure that relationship goes both directions. When you invest in us, we invest right back in you.

3. Boutique cultivation, big difference.
Long before "craft cannabis" was a marketing buzzword, we were already cultivating with that mindset. Our in-house flower brand, In The Flow, is grown right here under the care of head grower, Ari and her amazing team, whose tender love and care shows in every harvest. It's boutique cultivation done right — and our customers tell us the difference every single day.

4. TSA gummies that push the boundaries.
Our TSA edible line wasn't built by accident. Every flavor and formulation was developed with intention, aiming for more than just great taste — we wanted a line that delivers a whole-health feeling and experience from the first bite. The result is a gummy line that pushes past what people expect from a cannabis edible.

5. A one-stop shop with Headwaters Provisions.
We call Headwaters Provisions our "side piece" with a lot of love — it's grown into the accessory shop our customers didn't know they needed, rounding out The Source into a true one-stop destination for everything cannabis.

6. Community support that runs deep.
This community has always been at the heart of why we do what we do. Giving back isn't a once-a-year gesture for us — it's baked into how we operate, through our monthly Tip Match program and our Sharing Shack. Since we started Tip Match, The Source has donated more than $90,000 to local nonprofits across Northwest Arkansas, and that number keeps climbing month after month thanks to customers who show up and shop local alongside us.

7. Locally owned, single location, female-led.
Seven years, one location, the same ownership group since 2019 — and proudly female-led. In an industry that's consolidating fast, we've stayed intentionally small and intentionally rooted in Rogers, because that's what lets us actually know our customers by name.
How We Celebrated Our Lucky 7 Weekend
Our 7th anniversary celebration ran all weekend long, August 14th through 16th, with deals and giveaways designed to thank the Rogers and greater Northwest Arkansas community for seven incredible years.
Doorbusters kicked things off on Saturday morning, with a limited number of early-bird deals available to customers who made a minimum $20 purchase.
Anyone who shopped between 9 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. on Saturday, August 15th was entered to win prizes, including TSA products and concert tickets to an upcoming Breaking Benjamin show at the Walmart Amp. The winners were drawn live by Branden Lee from 104.9 the X during his broadcast from Headwaters Provisions.

Saturday was also a Tip Match day benefiting the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter — marking our 4th year partnering with NWAWS for Tip Match. NWAWS supports individuals and families escaping domestic violence through temporary housing, counseling, re-housing assistance, and a 24-hour domestic violence hotline. We're honored to have stood behind their mission for our anniversary giveback.
Thank You, Northwest Arkansas
Seven years in, our commitment to this community hasn't changed: quality cannabis, a team that feels like family, and a business that gives back to the neighbors who support us. As our CEO, Amanda Strickland, put it heading into the celebration — this community holds a hand worth playing every time.
Thank you to everyone who came out, shopped local, and celebrated seven years with us. Here's to many more years of good cards, better company, and a Northwest Arkansas community we're proud to call home.
